Welcome to 2013 - we hope it is a good year for you all and we look forward to seeing you at the dances. You may see a little different, yet exciting new format to the Jake Hooker show this year. WE are proud to bring on board Jakes dad, Tommy Hooker. He will join the Outsiders to open many of the shows. You are sure to be pleased with his enormous vocals and great dancehall tunes. Jake will follow with Tommy along for some duets and harmony vocals…..it is going to be quite the show. Look for other new bands and artists to open when Tommy is not available. Don’t worry, you will get your fill of Jake ….his performances may be a little shorter but much more powerful!

Since we have changed things up a bit we have also heards lots of different information floating around. WE have been bombarded with concerned emails and phone calls asking if Jake is quitting. We are trying to clear the air and put all worries at rest -- THAT IS NOT THE CASE. Jake has decided to slow down this year. We have been playing long and hard for quite some time and feel it is time for a little rest. Our boys, as most of you well know, are growing up so fast .... too fast! Jake wants a little more time with them and so he has made that decision. WE hope everyone understands.....we are not quitting, but we are taking some much needed time off. Rest assured, we are still playing, so make sure you mark your calendars and come see us!
